Chill Out Ice Lounge - Dubai, U.A.E

When visiting Dubai, Surya and I visited this place called Chill Out Ice Lounge. It's one of those things you have to visit when in Dubai. It's part of a mall. The way it works is you pay 60 dirhams to get in and they give you shoes, coat, gloves and a cup of hot chocolate. There is a room where you can go to get used to the temperature of the lounge.

And then you step inside the lounge. It's awesome. The tables (with a glass table top), chairs (with a padding), sculptures and even the plates are made entirely out of ice. The other exception is the menu.

This is the menu. We ordered the International Cheese Plate just to see what it comes in and yep, the food also comes in a plate of ice. It is really weird to think of an Ice Lounge in the middle of the desert. But if you're in Dubai, check this place out. We listened to Russian house music and hung out. Most people cannot stay for more than an hour. It gets cold. An hour or so is enough to enjoy the place.
