Summer Time

It's summer time. Here are my plans apart from the typical working part-time, relaxing and hanging out with my wonderful friends and family. This time I am not traveling overseas. I wish I could travel to some exotic place. I would love to visit Brazil.

I plan to read. This is my reading list at the moment:
Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier

Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri

A Room of One's Own by Virginia Woolf

And the theme is Women Writers. I started Rebecca and I'm right away drawn into it. I already read Jhumpa Lahiri's Unaccustomed Earth and I admire her writing style. As for Virginia Woolf, she intrigues me and this essay of hers is the pioneer of feminist criticism.

Tennis - I picked up the racket again after so many years.

Salsa Dancing - I'm still dancing. I love the salsa and latin music. It's beautiful and full of passion.

Part-time work at retail. I am still the perky, friendly chatty sales lady at the store.

The weather is beautiful. I want to sip a smoothie and think how wonderful life is.
