30-30-30 Challenge

30 Things I want to do
  1. learn to make pot pie but I'm going to make a lobster pot pie instead!
  2. give tango dancing a try
  3. improve my salsa dancing
  4. make a scrapbook of my Argentina adventures
  5. finish my series of self-portrait paintings
  6. finish writing Exile
  7. visit Italy
  8. visit Paris and the Provence
  9. visit Germany
  10. live for a short time in England
  11. teach abroad in Singapore
  12. visit Brazil
  13. go on a hiking trip one of these days
  14. take Writing to Heal class by Susan Reese at PSU
  15. learn the art of wine making
  16. get a spa package where you spend a whole day getting a massage, facial, pedicure/manicure
  17. do something about the human trafficking social evil
  18. give more to charity
  19. continue to keep in touch with relatives back in India
  20. try speed dating just for the experience of it
  21. talk to that attractive guy I've been checking out for the last 3 months
  22. play tennis
  23. run a marathon
  24. be positive
  25. make some creme brulee
  26. avoid fake, superficial, toxic, negative and co-dependent people
  27. have courage to write risque and controversial topics (with a purpose not for sensationalism)
  28. after finishing Exile, start on my second novel
  29. support my friend Beni and other social workers going to places to bless and help people
  30. visit Goa

  1. a waist measurement of 26 inches
  2. ability to do pull-ups
  3. muscle tone/definition
  4. improved physical strength
  5. art supplies
  6. a better, faster laptop
  7. a scrapbook for my Argentina adventures
  8. financial security
  9. all my debts paid off
  10. a Pizzicato pizza (but that only means motivation to hit the gym harder)
  11. better skin condition (those darn breakouts!)
  12. physical health
  13. my Master's degree
  14. a real designer purse (NOT Coach or LV! I like Longchamp)
  15. new ballroom dance shoes (my old one broke)
  16. friendships with genuine, sincere people; I always love to meet new people
  17. a papasan chair
  18. several books, mostly literary fiction
  19. Rosetta Stone in Spanish and Hindi
  20. a kindle
  21. a pair of Bia Brazil workout pants - I heard they were good and a cute style

30 Things I Want To Be Before I Die

  1. a wonderful, amazing and best wife I can be
  2. the best mother I can be to my future kids
  3. a loyal, trustworthy, true, friend to all my friends
  4. a sincere, honest, mature believer of Christ (not some lame cliche church lady who conforms to the church's culture. There is a big difference between confoming to church culture and following Christ).

  8. the best person I can be
  9. fabulous

  12. a motivator

  14. a successful teacher
